Update: #25DaysofFitmas

So I know I said I would update on this weekly, but after I began, I felt that every two weeks or so would be sufficient!  I also said I'd be updating daily on social media, which I have also epically failed at.  Womp, womp.  That's what finals do to you! But just because I haven't been posting doesn't mean I don't think about this challenge every day! So here are some of the things I've done so far!

Beach Babe Gift Guide

Since I started blogging I've wanted to do a gift guide.  I always see other bloggers post them and find myself scrolling through going "I want that, I want that..." So I figured better now than later to give it a whirl for myself! I call this the "Beach Babe" gift guide, as I've simply curated some cute things to give to that super cool chick in your life who lives every day like it's summer and loves everything about the beach. I found this simple because obviously, I am that girl.  Basically, I picked a bunch of my favorite things that I thought would make for some pretty awesome gifts! The links to each product are below (along with why I love it) and I've tried to order them in a left to right/top to bottom pattern to correspond with the picture! The gifts I chose range from about $10-$150 and hopefully will inspire ideas as well! Enjoy!

Row 1:

Colleen Wilcox Art Island Oasis Tote $28 // This artwork gives me life and even better that you get to take it everywhere!

Kula to Kuau Shell Trinket Box $15 // How cute is this little seashell?! A great gift for the girl who thinks she's a mermaid, its perfect for her to keep all of her human treasures in.

Ulu Lagoon Coconut Surf Wax Candle $28 // I currently have this in the air freshener hanging from my rearview mirror and I'm in love. The candles smell just as amazing and how cool is this special collection tin?!

S'well Bottle Waikiki $35 // S'well bottles are generally awesome, but even better in this palm frond print! Swoon. I'll admit, this one made it to my Christmas list. Fingers crossed.

Row 2:

KnitCoutureCo Chunky Knit Blanket $149 // I keep seeing these blankets everywhere and I really really am in need. I just love the boho vibe of it and of course, mermaids get cold too!

R+Co Rockaway Salt Spray $25 // A beach babe always needs a good sea salt spray (or 5). R+Co makes awesome hair products in super cute packaging!!

Lush Cosmetics The Experimenter Bath Bomb $9 // Lush is an all time favorite of mine and you can't go wrong with a bath bomb! Plus this one has glitter.  Case in point.

Rockabella Jewels Hawaii Shark Tooth Choker $45 // I have a bracelet from this designer and it's so pretty! I knew I had to put one of their pieces on the list and I came across this pretty little thing. And now I want it for myself! Perfect for your beach babe and totally on trend!

Pacifica 7 Free Nail Polish in Nirvana Nirvana $9 // Nail polish is always a great gift. You can never have enough! Pacifica is all natural and they have some really pretty, beachy shades like this one!

Row 3:

Duvin Design Company Logger Beanie (Pink) $28 // I discovered this brand this summer at a surf shop in Florida! I was honored to have several guys from the team follow me on IG (much love xoxo!) Aside from that, their clothes and accessories are super cool and I love this little beanie with the palm tree pin!

Kawaiian Lion Major Peace Out Cushion $129 // Honestly, I've been wanting something from this brand for a really long time. You've probably seen me mention them before, as I constantly stalk them on IG (sorry not sorry). But really, this is the cutest cushion/pillow, great for a beach babe's bed or sofa!

Surf Glam Aloha Long Sleeve Tee $38 // I love this top because it keeps the "aloha spirit" but also keeps you warm!

With Love From Paradise Kepana | Malia Short $46 // A beach babe can never have enough aloha print! These booty shorts are great for a yoga sesh or for just lounging around!

25 Days of Fitmas

Hello beautiful people and happy December!! I legit cannot believe this year is almost over.  I am both surprised and relieved.  Half of this year was great and the other half was, well, probably one of the worst of my life.  Regardless, I am still here and raring and ready to finish off the year strong.  A fellow blogger of mine mentioned the idea of doing a "25 Days of Fitmas."  Now I'm not sure exactly what her plan was or what people usually do for things like this, but I decided to join her and come up with my own way of going about it!

Now yes, there is a barbell in the graphic. Cute right? However, this is not just going to be about physical fitness.  My plan is to do at least one thing everyday to further my physical, mental and emotional fitness.  So for physical I might go to the gym, take a walk or have an at home Zumba session. For mental I would read a book, write something (a blog post, work on my novel or actually do some homework lol) or do a Sudoku.  Lastly, for emotional I would probably meditate, spend time with friends and family or visit the beach.  These are just a few examples of things I might do, if you choose to join me in this little challenge!  There are also things that encompass two or more of those things for example, yoga targets the physical and the emotional.

In addition to the challenge, I do have a few goals to go along with it.  For my physical goal, I'd like to lose a few pounds (to counteract all of the alcohol drinking and cookie eating that comes with the holidays) and tone up my problem areas.  For mental, I want to finish the school semester with as many A's as possible.  I also would like to finish a few more books before the year is over.  For emotional, I am trying to get back to a constant state of happiness and calm, which comes with getting in the habit of taking an emotional break on a regular basis and getting more in tune with my spiritual side.

So the way this will work is that I will post on here once a week with updates and post something on social media (probably Instagram) every day with what I did that day, using the hashtag #25daysoffitmas.  So if you want to join me, use the hashtag so we can support each other! Today I will be focusing on the mental part, as I am writing on my blog now and working on writing my articles for the school newspaper!  I hope you all will join me and share your ideas with me!  Together we can leave 2016 feeling fabulous!

Pinspiration: #Mood

It seems that more often than not I am posting sassy Instagram pictures with the caption: Mood.  Basically, I've been feeling some type of way as we are nearing "that point" in the semester.  (That point being the one where I get so stressed out that I have a complete mental breakdown.) It's good times. So I like to procrastinate/relax (relaxtinate?) with some solid Pinterest time.  These are just a few things that have been floating around in my brain.

1. Still really want a tattoo. Love this mandala one! | 2. In desperate search of open toed bootie style heels like these. | 3. Currently obsessed with big, cozy sweaters with pretty bralettes! | 4. This quote spoke to me on a cosmic level. | 5. Future home goals. I am Kawaiian Lion's number one Instagram fan. | 6. Saw a girl in pants like these the other day and now I need them.

Clarisonic Mia 2 with Her Campus

If you know me, you know that I am super diligent about my skincare routine.  I always wash my face (morning and night) and always ALWAYS take off my makeup.  I've had skin troubles over the years, but recently my skin has been looking pretty good.  I had no idea that it could look and feel even better!

I've always wanted to try the Clarisonic products, but could never really afford it and I didn't think it was something I needed.  I was totally wrong.  I got to try the Clarisonic Mia 2 for myself as a gift from them and Her Campus.  Let me tell you just how much I loved it.

The set that I got is the Clarisonic Deep Pore Mia 2 Kit.  It came with the actual Mia 2 Sonic Cleansing device, Deep Pore Daily Cleanser, Deep Pore Detoxifying Clay Mask and a Deep Pore Brush Head.

The device is easy to use and gentle enough for all skin types, as well as to use twice a day. I chose to use mine every morning, as I usually just use coconut oil at night. The Mia 2 has two speed settings and is 60 seconds of pure scrubby goodness.

Using warm water, I splashed my face and wet the brush. It's waterproof so if you get it wet or take it in the shower with you it's all good. Then, I took about a dime size amount of the Deep Pore Daily Cleanser and gently spread it over my face and neck. The device times each section out for you so you know exactly how long to spend on each part of your face. The manual suggests 20 seconds on your forehead, 20 seconds for your nose and chin, and 10 seconds for each cheek. I also like to drag each section down to get my neck as well, since I personally have some scarring and acne there that I am trying to eliminate.

When your done the device will shut off automatically! Then I just splashed my face again with water and quickly cleaned the brush off using warm water and scrubbing it on my hand. If it picks up any makeup residue, like deep rooted foundation gook, you will see it. It makes me feel like I really got a good, deep cleanse!

The set also comes with the Clay Mask, which is great if your skin is feeling particularly yucky. I like to use it at the end of a week where I've worn a lot of makeup. It feels great on and gives your skin a nice clean glow!

I've been using the device and the cleanser for about three weeks now and my skin looks ah-mazing. It's smooth, supple and so soft that I find myself touching it because it just feels so darn good. I also noticed that my skin tone has evened out a good deal. Spots that were noticeably red before are much more subtle now. Check out the before and after! (please excuse the totally unfiltered mess that is me in the morning and my out of control hair lol)

Overall, I really love this product and am so happy to have the kit in my life. It will now be a permanent part of my daily skincare routine! The kit is great for those that need a good cleanse but don't want to exfoliate daily and it also makes a great gift! Check it out on the Clarisonic website HERE and use the code HERCAMPUS until November 20th for an additional 15% off!

What's Goin' On?

My apologies for falling off the face of the earth...again.  Life has been pretty chaotic lately.  I've been juggling school, work, writing for the school paper, as well as an online internship and obviously running this blog!  I'm also now a proud new editor for CampusDIY!  So needless to say, I've got a lot going on. That's not even counting my personal life.  So unfortunately blogging has had to be pushed on the priority list.  But honestly, not for lack of trying!  So I'm going to update you all on what I've been thinking about lately, hopefully to your entertainment.

If you know me or have been following the blog for a while, you know I lovveeee Halloween.  I always start planning my costume around August or so and that was definitely the same this year.  But now we are a good way's into October and I think I've come to a decision.  About a million Pinterest searches later, I think I've decided on being a fortune teller!  I'm planning to put my own spin on it, but here are some ideas that have inspired me!

Hurricane Matthew

This has been quite an interesting one.  The uncertainty was probably the worst part, since we didn't really know how bad it was going to be or what to really expect.  It was also the first real hurricane I've been through, and I 100% do not recommend.  However, we survived with just some really loud phone alerts and some debris.  It was kind of fun in a way, since I've been off from school and work for almost a week and got to take time to do things like chill out and hang out with my friends.  The city suffered some pretty bad damage in places, but my heart did not. ;)

New Makeup

The thing I probably needed least in my life was more makeup.  But I got some anyway, because I do what I want.  My mom and I took a nice little trip to Ulta to pick up a few things, mainly the new Too Faced holiday set.  I got the Le Grande Palais set last year and I literally use it every day.  So I obviously had to get this years!  I got the Grand Hotel Cafe, the one shaped like a hotel with the three little pallets and I am not disappointed.  The colors are great and it smells really, really good.  I also got some new stuff from NYX and my mom got the Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Lady Balls, which I will probably wind up stealing, lol.  The color is nothing less than ravishing.

ACP Conference

Because I am a valued member of the school newspaper, we get to go on an (almost) all expenses paid trip to the ACP Conference in Washington, D.C.!  I'm really excited because I get to go away with some good friends while also getting to learn a lot about journalism!...and get crunk at night time lol.  Regardless, I'm looking forward to it and think it's a really awesome opportunity!  And honestly, how gorgeous is this hotel?!

Fall Weather

For the first time in foreverrrrr...we have some decent fall weather! (Yes, that was a Frozen reference.) I've slowly been pulling out a few fall pieces even though it's still been pretty hot recently, but today I excitedly threw on my boots and leggings with a 3/4 sleeve top.  I know that sounds not very fall, but just being able to wear long pants makes me happy.  I'm hoping it cools off just a smidge more so I can break out my big blanket scarves and jackets!

New Blog Stuff!

I've got a few posts in the works that I'm pretty excited about!  They are mostly reviews but on some really cool things, so those will be going up soon!  I'm going to try to post more often if I can but know that I'm still here even if I have a lull between posts.  Just bare with me for another month or so until the holidays and then I will have much more time to write!

Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lull in posting lately.  I've had quite a lot of personal things going on in my life at the moment that have unfortunately pulled me away from blogging.  Nevertheless, I am back and I'm excited to catch up on posting some great things! I've got a few reviews, including this one, as well as some fashion pieces in the works!  But more about that later, let's get to the good stuff!

So you all know how much I absolutely loveeeee the Valentia skincare products.  I've already reviewed a few, all of which have worked magic on my skin!  The funny thing is that they always seem to relate new products right when I need them!  For a while now, I've been struggling with getting rid of some dark spots on my jawline.  They are scars from getting laser hair removal (one of the lovely side effects of my PCOS) and boy are they stubborn.  I've tried a LOT of things, starting with natural products then giving in to non-natural. I tried getting a facial and then I finally wound up at the dermatologist. All of these things helped, but they were still really visible and difficult to hide with concealer.  So when I had just about given up, I got the email about the Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer, with one benefit that happened to be "lightens dark spots."  I really couldn't have asked for better timing, so thanks Valentia!

I have been using the moisturizer on a pretty regular basis for about a month now.  I wanted to get a good amount of time to use it before reviewing to test how it really worked on those pesky spots.  I will say, I was absolutely not disappointed.  It may be a bit hard to tell in the picture, but I assure you they are slowly but surely fading!  Also, for reference, the first photo was taken with the front facing camera and the second was taken with the higher resolution camera.  The darker spots have gotten a bit lighter and the lighter spots are fading well!  I'm confident that, in time, this moisturizer will be the definitive answer to my spotty woes.

On top of the visible results, the Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer also has many other benefits!  Daily use can also restore skin radiance, even skin tone, diminish fine lines, and provide daily hydration.  I have been using it at night after taking off my makeup, but it would also work great under makeup.

My other favorite thing about this product, and the company in general, is the fact that it's made with all natural and organic ingredients!  This one in particular contains botanical hyaluronic acid, kojic acid, ginseng, safflower oil, and shea butter!

Overall, I'm honestly in love with this product.  It works amazingly, feels great on my skin, and also smells kind of like sunscreen which always smells good to me! #endlesssummer (lol) I can't wait to keep using this and see how much my skin continues to improve!

Studio Gear Cosmetics Dual Identity Wet/Dry Foundation

Hurray for multi-function products! I love a good two-for, so when Studio Gear Cosmetics asked me to try out their new Dual Identity Wet/Dry Mineral Foundation, obviously the answer was YES!  The set came with the powder foundation (in Sand), their Revitalizing Day Serum, and the #3 Domed Foundation Brush.

I will say my first impression was slightly confused.  I had a little trouble figuring out how to use the dual identity aspect.  But after playing around with it for a bit I found that this foundation is super versatile. They also have this handy-dandy video to show you how to use it! Check that out HERE.

There are several ways to use it: mineral powder foundation, liquid/cream foundation, mattefying finishing powder, or cream contour. I used it as the first three, since it wasn't dark enough for me to contour with (and I don't really like to contour, honestly.)

First I put on the Revitalizing Day Serum to create an even base for the foundation. This can also be used to mix with the foundation.  I really liked the serum! It wasn't sticky or super oily like some others I've tried and it seemed to make the perfect primer for the makeup!  The first picture is only the basic mineral powder foundation.  I'd probably only use it like this if I wasn't really going to wear makeup and just wanted to even out my skin a bit.  It didn't have much coverage on its own, and I need a little bit more on a regular basis. (Also, yes this is how I get ready in the morning. Bath robe and all.) Notice how visible my dark circles and accidental forehead tan are. I think once I can even out my skin tone it will look a great deal better!

In the second photo, I mixed the powder with a little bit of water to create the liquid foundation.  You could also try using the serum or your favorite moisturizer, but I didn't want my skin to look too oily.  I found that had a lot better coverage, but was a little hard to blend.  But once I did get it where I liked it, it looked great! My skin looked close to airbrushed; like I could not see a single pore.  I did find that I needed to layer a little bit on my problem areas (redness, dark under eyes, etc.) but overall I think it worked very well.

Also, I just want to take a minute to talk about the brush.  It's amazing.  It was just the right amount of stiffness to really blend everything out but soft enough to not feel like I was scraping my face off (haha). But I really did like it and will absolutely use it for more than just this foundation.

For the final look I went back in again and used it as the finishing powder on top of the liquid, which really brought it all together by getting rid of any unwanted shine and nicely setting the makeup.  As for wear, I think it lasted pretty well throughout the day.  I noticed it fade a little bit but nothing out of the ordinary.  Overall, I think it's a great product! The coverage, while buildable, wasn't quite enough for me but I will absolutely continue to mess around with it to get a heavier coverage.  My favorite thing about the Studio Gear Dual Identity Wet/Dry Foundation is how smooth it made my skin look! Even though it didn't really help in covering those dark circles (I've honestly given up.  Nothing will cover them) I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, lol.  I would definitely recommend it, especially for those of you who are all about the natural look and want something easy and versatile.

You can nab your own Dual Identity powder at Studio Gear Cosmetics website HERE! Plus, Studio Gear is currently offering $5 off your purchase of the foundation when you sign up for their emails! Also, don't forget to check out the Revitalizing Day Serum and the #3 Domed Foundation Brush! Make sure you take a look at these for more details on these wonderful products!!  If you decide to try it for yourself, let me know what you think in the comments!

Back To School Flawless with Johnson & Johnson

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #MajorBeauty #MajorSteals #CollectiveBias

As much as I am not ready to think about it, we can't avoid the fact that school starts back up in just a few weeks.  When I'm getting ready to go back to school, I'm always sensitive to what I'm going to wear, how I'm going to do my makeup, which bag I'm going to take etc. You never know what you're going to wind up doing or who you're going to run into.

When I dress nice and spend an insurmountable amount of time on my makeup it makes me feel like a million bucks which gives me confidence! Whether it's for meeting up with that cute guy in your study group or giving that big presentation, there is no denying that when you look good you feel good! For me, the key to my confidence is maintaining beautiful, healthy skin. Because let's be honest, not even my prettiest dress or highest coverage makeup is going to cover that giant pimple that showed up unannounced. Thankfully, we have some little miracle workers to help us make sure that will never happen!

While there are plenty of fantastic skincare products on the market, I am working with a few of my favorites from Johnson & Johnson. I made my way to Target to snag the awesome sale they are having on most of the Aveeno, Clean & Clear, and Neutrogena products. Two of them wound up being buy one get one for 25% off, which was great! Plus there was also a coupon on the Cartwheel app for an additional 5% off my Clean & Clear cleanser, so I was able to knock a decent amount off of my total! Even better, I used my Target card and got another 5% off my whole purchase!  So I was feeling like the bargain queen when I walked out that day.

The deals I got only run until the end of August, so make sure you make it in time to take advantage of these awesome discounts!  The deals are exact as follows:

Buy any one participating Neutrogena® facial, Neutrogena® cosmetic or Clean & Clear® facial product and get one 25% off from July-August 2016.

Buy one, get one 25% off select Aveeno® items from July 31, 2016-August 20, 2016.

So to give you an idea of how I keep my skin looking #flawless, I'm going to give you a little tutorial on my back to school skincare routine from night to morning!

First up is the Aveeno Ultra-Calming Makeup Removing Wipes. There is nothing more important than getting all of that gook off of your face after a long day. Even if you don't wear makeup, your skin is still exposed to all kinds of bacteria and dirt especially if you're walking a lot outside.  Also, I know being in the south I find that walking outside in between classes I tend to sweat which is horrible for your skin. These wipes are great for all of those things and they also help reduce any redness you make have. Plus they can totally stand alone for your whole night time routine since they don't require rinsing and also feel quite moisturizing. Just simply wipe your face and don't be afraid to scrub a little to make sure you get all of that mascara off! Check out Target's selection of Aveeno products HERE.

In the morning I wash my face with the Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Scrub. I just take about a dime size amount and scrub for about 25 seconds, focusing on my problem areas (which are my nose and chin.)  I don't personally get acne but I do have blackheads now and again so this scrub gets rid of them quickly. However, if you do get a pimple or two, the scrub has salicylic acid which helps prevent those pesky bumps and get rid of them more quickly than a normal cleanser. It also has an exfoliant that helps to scrub off any dirt and oil, leaving you a nice, smooth canvas for putting on your makeup! Check out Target's selection of Clean & Clear products HERE.

Last, but definitely not least, is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel. After I've washed my face and patted it dry, I slather this all on my face and neck.  I'm obsessed with this stuff because it feels sooo good. I have combination skin which gets really dry in areas so it drinks this up like crazy. With a lot of other moisturizers I feel like I put them on and then just hope it's working, where with this one I can feel it soaking into my skin and I also find it has a slight cooling sensation which is very refreshing. It's also a great base for makeup!   Check out Target's selection of Neutrogena products HERE.

And that's it! Pretty simple right?  Because the last thing we want is to spend 8 hours on our skincare routine before and after a long day.  What would your flawless skin routine include? Let me know in the comments!

If you love my routine, why not try it out for yourself!  Enter the #MajorBeauty Sweepstakes to win 1 of 30 $50 Target gift cards to try these products out or create your own flawless routine!

Disney Trip Recap

A couple of weeks ago, my mom and I mad the spontaneous decision to take a quick trip to Disney World!  It was totally out of the norm for both of us to make such an uncalculated decision, however we took the plunge and planned our trip for 4 days at the park.

Since we live in Myrtle Beach, the drive is about 8 hours, but it wound up being closer to 10 with food/bathroom/gas breaks.  We also hit a pretty bad storm on the way down which was not fun at all, especially after driving for 5 hours.  But besides that it seemed to go by pretty quickly!

Once we got into Orlando, we decided to stay outside the park that night since it would be silly to pay for a night in a hotel on site just to sleep.  The hotel was nice and served its purpose for a much more reasonable price.

Our first day at the park was in Hollywood Studios.  Now, I've been to Disney 2 times in the past 5 years or so but I haven't been to this park since before it was Hollywood Studios.  So we were pretty excited to see what was new and relive some old favorites.  I'd have to say that our favorite thing we did all day was the Frozen sing along show.  Mind you we are both grown ass women, yet we both probably enjoyed it as much as the group of kids screaming along behind us.  It wasn't just a sing along, but also a bit of a comedy routine which made it fun for adults as well as the little guys.

We took advantage of our extra magic hours and took a break mid-day to go back to the hotel and unpack our stuff, since we knew we weren't going to want to do it later.  Once we made it back to the park, we did as much as we could and stayed until midnight!

The hotel we stayed at was the Dolphin, and it was super nice!  My mom is a teacher and the Swan & Dolphin give teacher discounts, so we got to stay there instead of something less expensive and less convenient outside of the park.  The best besides how friendly everyone was was the transportation.  There were boats direct to Epcot and Hollywood and buses to all the other parks, including Disney Springs.  It was a lot less stressful than having to drive and park, for sure.

Day two was Animal Kingdom, another park we hadn't been to in a super long time.  My favorite thing besides going through each section was the Finding Nemo show.  It is just so super cool and well done, everyone needs to see it, for real.

After a delicious lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, a favorite from my childhood, we walked around a little more and then went back to the hotel to get read for our Polynesian dinner show.  This was probably the only down point of our trip,  I was so excited to see the show, since I hadn't seen it since I was very little.  Unfortunately, the show got cancelled due to lightening, so we just got to sit there in the rain and eat.  The food was good, and I particularly enjoyed the pulled pork, but my mom wound up getting food poisoning which messed up our plans a bit.  We were a little disappointed with how they handled the whole situation, but what are you gonna do.  At least we looked cute!

That brings me to day three.  We were supposed to do Epcot, however because my mom got sick, we decided to spend the day at the hotel and relax.  We also got to check out Disney Springs, which we may not have gotten to do otherwise, so that was pretty cool.  Disney Springs is basically the expanded version of Downtown Disney.  They added a bunch of great stores, restaurants, and cool things to do like a dine in movie theater and the coca-cola store.

Day four was our personal favorite, Magic Kingdom.  There is no possible was you could be anything less than elated in the Magic Kingdom.  We hit as many rides as we could before the rain came, and it was particularly awful that day.  But we didn't expect much less from Florida in July. We just made our way to the Enchanted Tiki Room and waited it out.  Otherwise, it was a great day!  We accidentally met Ariel, since I got in the wrong line.  I had intended to wait for the ride, but my inner child was grateful.  I did however intentionally wait in line to meet Gaston, which was hilarious. I commiserated with fellow 20 something girls who all agreed there needs to be somewhere to meet all the hot Disney fellas.

We got to do all of the classics like Small World and Winnie the Pooh, except Peter Pan (which was a 170 minute wait...I don't think so.) We ended our day eating dinner at Tony's Town Square Restaurant, where we then promptly pooped our right after.

Our last day was the day of Epcot.  Unfortunately we were so tuckered out that we didn't last very long.  But we did get to do the new Frozen ride (which was really cool) and hit all of the countries! We even got to eat lunch in Mexico which is another childhood favorite.  My mom also saved an older man's life at breakfast, which is a whole other story in itself.  But that was pretty awesome of her and he was well taken care of by the park medical team.  It was nothing less than an eventful day and we were practically crawling out of the park at the end, but it was totally worth the exhaustion and knee pain.

The next day we headed back to Dirty Myrtle.  I really didn't think I was going to make it because I'm the only one who will drive and I was totally exhausted.  I wound up stopping a lot because I was legit falling asleep, so Starbucks got a lot of my money that week.

Overall, we had an awesome time getting in touch with our inner-child (inner-children?).  It was fun to go just us, since we usually go with a large group and little kids.  I got to be the ring leader for once and I had fun torturing my mom on the teacups and telling her the drop on the Frozen ride wasn't that big, which it was (she hates any kind of drop and screams on Pirates of the Caribbean lol). As tired as we were, we totally didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back soon!
