A new chapter

So much has changed since the last time I posted!

I got married.

I went to Hawaii.

I got a new job.

I moved to Florida.

Pretty much sums it up. It has been a JOURNEY with lots of craziness, love and adventure. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

So let's go through one by one, shall we?

MR. & MRS.

On June 15, 2019, I became Mrs. Harvath. I couldn't be happier. Schuyler and I are two peas in a pod and I cannot imagine my life without him. Our wedding day was beautiful—surrounded by family and friends. Everything came out perfectly except for a few minor things, but what event is complete without something going wrong? I will certainly have another post with photos and details, but here's a couple to tide you over until then.

I think it's fairly obvious that I've never smiled harder in my life. (Gene Ho Studios)

Cake by the Ocean! Yes, we played that song lol. Cake by Chef Geoff Blunt (Gene Ho Studios)

My entire life I have dreamed of going to Hawaii. As time went on and I got older and still hadn't made it there, I said if/whenever I got married that's where I'd go on my honeymoon. Needless to say, I was stoked when Schuyler agreed. It was everything I'd imagined and more and we've been itching to go back since the plane's wheels were taking off. I will do a whole post detailing our adventures and with some tips for your trip!

Schuyler and I got lucky enough, on our honeymoon actually, to be offered jobs at the same news station. WINK News in Fort Myers, Florida. We were so excited and are still working in the same positions, just moving up markets and making more moola. We've been here about three weeks now and are loving it! Everyone has been very kind and welcoming and we're settling in just fine. But that's not to say that we don't absolutely miss our WPDE/WTGS family!

Our first day at WINK!

A month ago yesterday we moved into our nice little two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in Fort Myers. It's 10 minutes from work, 25 minutes from the beach (if you drive like my husband) and is brand, spankin' new. It really was the perfect spot for us. We love the view of the lake and the fact that our bathroom has Jack and Jill sinks. *insert meme that says, you know your old when...* We still have some work to do to set up, but it's certainly coming along. We're here for at least three years, so we'll finish eventually.

Overall, we're having a great time creating our new life together as husband and wife. We are still like two teenagers in love and probably always will be. We love watching Expedition Unknown together after work and drinking wine, planning trips to Disney World (that will maybe happen eventually) and exploring our new home.

One thing that has been nice is being on a day shift, so we actually have time to do things after work. Which also means I plan to be on here much more often from now on! So make sure you're keeping your eyes open for new posts! I've got some fun things in the works!

XO, Briana
